Outside of the United States, 'Whip My Hair' peaked within the top ten of the charts in Belgium (Wallonia), Denmark, and the United Kingdom, and peaked within the top 20 of the charts in Australia, Canada, and Ireland. 'Whip My Hair' peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was written by Ronald 'Jukebox' Jackson and Janae Liann Ratliff, and produced by Ronald Jackson.
